Wynn Wins Again!

Club member, Carly Wynn, won the Youth Women’s pursuit race at the Jr. World Championship Trials races in Jericho, VT yesterday. In the Youth men’s race Sean Doherty had trouble on the range (including a two minute penalty for missing a penalty loop) and finished in 11th. Brian Halligan shot 50% and finished 17th.

The Jr./ Youth World Championships will be held in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic from January 27 – February 5. The team will consist of 3 or 4 youth men and 3 or 4 youth women. The top two races in the series will count. Currently, Carly Wynn is ranked first among the women (just about assuring her a spot on the team. Sean Doherty is ranked 5th in the youth men. The last race of the trials is a sprint race today.

In the Senior men’s race, Eli Walker, again finished in third place.
