Halligan and Saucy Take Mass Start

Brian Halligan (HURT/Saratoga Biathlon) took off at the start and never looked back, leading the mass start wire to wire on a hot and sunny day. Novice athlete, Adam Kaye was second overall, and Tom Moffett (Saratoga Biathlon) was able to shoot his way to third.

In the woman’s race, Hilary Saucy (PA Biathlon) won the mass start with only four penalties. Deb Nordyke (Saratoga Biathlon) was second, and Hilary’s mother Stephanie Saucy (PA Biathlon) was third.
