Wynn and Wynn Win!

Father and daughter (Mike Wynn and Tyra Wynn, both Peru Nordic) claimed titles at the annual Great Sacandaga Mini Marathon. The race was run on a shortened course due to the weather this past week. Race organizers were expecting hard icy conditions but were pleasantly surprised with how good the conditions were.

The elder Wynn has owned this race, winning every edition since 2004, when he lost by 1 second. In second in the men’s  field was Eric Seyse (Glenville Hills Nordic). Dave Paarlberg-Kvam (HURT) took third.

This was Tyra Wynn’s first Mini Marathon title. She was followed by Gabbi Rodbell (Glenville Hills Nordic) in second and Rebecca Kraines (Glenville Hills Nordic) in third.
