Biathlon Time Trial SAT 30 March
By popular demand we will hold a 4 shooting stage time trial on Saturday 30 March. The snow is still good and looks like it will hold. We MAY also hold Team HURTs Easter egg thingy if Queensbury doesn’t have enough snow to do so. Both races would be in the morning with Starts TBD. We will have a barbeque after the event at either my house or my parents details TBD. The biathlon race will be a mass start,penalty loops, no timing on a 1k loop with 4 shooting stages (5k). I will update as the week progresses and add the status of the X-country race once we find out.

In years past, when we have late snow & a fun race, it has been an good excuse to pull out the loudest retro lycra suits possible! In the spirit of Easter eggs & jelly beans, I propose that all racers dig deep in closets and pull out that old colorful retro (ugly) suit and wear it proudly on Saturday!! Sean

Just saw this news today 4/21/13. Did this event happen? Since the NYSSRA website hasn’t had news available for the last month just Team info, I wasn’t aware of this time trial. Wish I knew about it since there aren’t many biathlon races during the season.
We had it and conditions were good. We will always post our races on the SBC site. You should automatic update on the upper right of the site so you will get an email when we post something.
