Frittelli and Moffett Take Biathlon Individual Titles
Racers were greeted with warm temperatures, sunny skies, and slushy snow that slowed everything way down.
Gabriella Frittelli outskied second place Magali Haas (Saratoga Biathlon) to overcome Haas’s superior shooting in the Women’s 15 km individual race. In third place was Morgana Fall (Saratoga Biathlon)
In the 20 km men’s race, Tom Moffett (Saratoga Biathlon) out shot Sean Halligan (Saratoga Biathlon) to finish first overall. Rounding out the podium was Rene Harde (Saratoga Biathlon).
In the other divisions, Janine Phaneuf (Polar Bear) won the women’s 10 km race. Gary Brackett (Saratoga Biathlon) took the men’s 15 km race, and Mikey Halligan (HURT) had the fastest time in the 6 km race.
