Great Weekend of Races
Competitors were treated to great conditions this weekend. In Saturday’s sprint race, Erik Schreiner (Saratoga Biathlon) edged World Champion Brian Wieghaus (Saratoga Biathlon). Scott Sick (PA Biathlon) finished in third. Ann Sick (PA Biathlon) was first, followed by Katrin Schreiner (Saratoga Biathlon) and Hannah Sick (PA Biathlon).
In today’s individual relay, World Champion Brian Wieghaus (Saratoga Biathlon) used his superior shooting skills to beat Eric Seyse (GHN) and biathlon rookie Shawn Deeley (Saratoga Biathlon). In the Women’s race, Ann Sick (PA Biathlon) and Katrin Schreiner (Saratoga Biathlon) again finished first and second, with Gabriella Frittelli (Saratoga Biathlon) in third.

Next up for the club is the construction of our new warming hut at the range. We will be organizing several work weekends over the next two months to get the building built by winter.
